What Was Old Will Be New Again...

So we've got a new and exciting plan!

Me and Tugrul have been talking for a few weeks about re-recording some of the demos, the best ones, for many reasons.

One: The original ones I did served their purpose, but they sound terrible and un-developed.
Two: It will give us both a chance to re-learn the songs and re-vamp them, and kill time over the fall/winter effectively.
Three: It could theoretically cut our time spent in Ontario in half.
Four: It's going to be a lot of fun
Five: I will learn more as a musician

After sending the demos to Daniel, we've all agreed that it will be a very good idea to do this, which made me very happy.

So now over the next couple of weeks we narrow it down to 15 songs, from 36.
and October 1st, we start to record! (again)

I was wondering to myself if I had wasted a lot of time doing all of the original demos myself to begin with...
and I've decided it was a needed stepping stone to make this album all it can be. I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for it, and it gave me a great idea as to where I want to direct this album, and it was a useful tool for Tugrul and Daniel in that way as well....
and anyone else involved.

And it will be great to go back and listen to years from now....
just to see where I started.

So, it looks like its time to start over again, and I never thought i'd be excited to say that...but this time I've got a good friend and a great musician helping out, it will keep me from getting lost in my head.

I hope to have some pictures and posts for you all in the coming weeks/months.....
